Healthy natural development is trusted, valued and harnessed for infant and parent well-being.

  • What We Believe

As the first of its kind in Canada, The Wholechild Company was built with a desire to find a holistic approach to infant well-being by harnessing the power of feeding + sleep in a way that supports healthy development, puts trust in a mother’s instinct and relies on babies’ cues. We intend to educate, equip and instill confidence in parents that builds lasting connections with their children.

IBCLC lactation support that meets you where you’re at

At Wholechild, we are highly trained, with over ten-thousand hours of clinical experience. We provide care in various settings while making appropriate referrals to other healthcare professionals and community support resources if required. We will always put your feeding goals first and work with you to create a plan that feels right for your family + moves you forward.

Sleep solutions that harness the power of natural development

Our approach emphasizes a mother’s instincts and a baby’s cues. We aim to help parents find sleep solutions through responsive parenting practices while building connected relationships. We are passionate about helping families improve sleep without the use of any formal sleep training.

Hi, I’m Hayley, a Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with over ten-thousand hours of clinical experience, a Certified Sleep Specialist, an Instructor at Mohawk College, a Birth and Postnatal Doula + (most meaningful) mama to a baby boy ♡

Wow, that’s a mouthful.

But it means that I believe there’s nothing more important than a holistic approach to well-being and the need to share with parents in a way that allows them to make the best decisions for their children.

The compassion you had for a mom struggling and feeling helpless. The time you took to make a plan that was a good fit. The check-ins along the way. You saved my breastfeeding journey. I would have been done at 2.5 months and because of you, I made it to one year. I’m so proud of that and you were a pivotal part in making that happen. I’m so unbelievably grateful for you.
